Er no. You pay for live and xxx amount for digital game. I pay for plus and game is about half what you now pay. I can stop paying for plus and still play game.
You're not factoring in plus users get a huge discount on game purchases. You pay for live I pay for plus, you're new price is 45 mine is 30 with plus discount. We both keep game forever. You have to pay for live I can stop paying for plus and still play game forever.
You are missing one key point. Xbox owners pay for live then buy game in xbl for new price. PlayStation owners pay for plus and get BIG discounts on games for sale on psn.
All the plus bashers forget its not just the games we "rent" each month but the huge discounts on most purchases.

Can anyone confirm it was a store model ps3? Not a dev kit? I am reeeally hoping this is what the game will look like when I pop it in but come on, those draw distances and zero screen tearing with no drop in frame rate? How is that even possible with current tech?

The gamepad is not a gimmick IMO. It functions very, very well. The possabilites with games like fallout are numerous. Also being able to use it via WiFi as a tablet is cool, too. I'm happy with my Wii u purchase and I'm picky as hell.
Agreed. It was hell in here a few years ago...back in the days of the open zone. Being a Sony supported got you ridiculed and death threats in your private inbox. Mods did nothing.

I didn't jump ship til my 360 rrod for the second time. It was literally on the day the infamous/kill zone ps3 bundle released. Never looked back. Ever. Sony 1st party makes awesome games. With what they learned this gen, and taking devs advice the ps4 should be one hell of a system. With the whole kinect debacle, Sony would literally have to slap me around and call me Susan for me to not buy their new console.

I've some friends in industry and rumors are sonys initial allotment are a lot less than demand is showing. They didn't anticipate such a frenzy and you can't just tell your manufacturer "we need an extra 5 million in the next 30 days please"
